Bound for 3 years to work at a property in Lancefield (sponsored by C.MacKinnon of Lancefield for a 3 year term at 40 pounds p.a) then lived at "Fernbank" near Piper's Creek, midway between Bendigo, Kyneton and Heathcote; Victoria, Australia. Chimney of home still standing in 1998, when 2 Myrtle trees were planted to remember B.F.Kilpatrick's death.)

Fact: Robbie Burns (Scot Poet) wrote a poem to Nellie Kilpatrick in 1773 when Burns was 14 yo. His preserved house also contains a mural of Nellie to this very day.

Fact: a Mary Kilpatrick (single 21yo) servant from Ayr, Ire immigrated on the "Shackamaxon" out of Liverpool 21-12-1861 to Melbourne 16-3-1862.

Also a Catherine Kilpatrick (single 29yo) from Waterford, Scotland.
